Corporate & Institutional Services


  • Global Fund Services (GFS), a segment of our asset servicing business unit, is one of the fastest-growing areas within Northern Trust and a key function of our Manila Operations Center. GFS is a market leading service provider in the fund administration and investment operations outsourcing market globally. It combines a highly commercial, entrepreneurial approach with our established, long-standing reputation for client service. GFS works with investment managers to maximize client portfolio value using custom products and services that provide in-depth analyses of transactions, assets, and funds based on client needs and requirements.


  • Hedge Fund Services (HFS) is a leading provider of middle and back office administration services to hedge funds and other organizations with complex assets and strategies.


  • Client Implementation and Transition Services is a support group for our business unit's client servicing teams, delivering an array of processing efficiencies while ensuring best practices and a consistent experience.


Corporate Groups


Corporate services groups are responsible for helping Northern Trust’s internal employees deliver outstanding products and services to our clients by providing expert consulting around the operation of the company. Opportunities are typically available within:

Global Shared Services


Global Shared Services (GSS) comprises of multiple teams - from technology to operations to enterprise productivity and more. The combination of these teams into a single organization allows for better alignment with the needs of the business, and positions priorities to help the business become more efficient, nimble and profitable. They work as the “front line” to answer questions, troubleshoot issues and triage internal employee inquiries about applications and tools. Change Management develops and executes solutions around the people side of change to ensure organizational readiness, acceptance and adoption of large change initiatives.
