Automation Process Architects will be part of the Enterprise Partner Services Engagement Team and will ultimately have responsibility for delivering optimized and automated processes Enterprise wide.  Initially, they will be responsible for analyzing specific business needs and architecting processes where Robotic Process Automation is a key component to the overall solution.  The Process Architects will be part of a newly created Enterprise Competency Center and will be engaged in each RPA implementation.  
The Process Architects will go through Blue Prism training and will be mentored by RPA specialists during the initial delivery phase.  

The key responsibilities of the role include 
•Identifying new process opportunities and accurately analyzing and estimating new processes, quickly assessing feasibility
•Analyzing, understanding and documenting the business processes in sufficient detail to handover to developer
•Identifying and communicating business requirements
•Managing opportunity identification sessions with a SME’s and Process Owners and quantifying opportunity
•Proficient in calculating automation effort and benefit and developing and documenting business case with ROI calculation 
•Designing process solutions in accordance with standard RPA design principles and conventions
•Ensuring the realization of the desired business outcome by architecting and configuring appropriate solution proposals and tracking those through final development
•Facilitating solutions with enterprise groups such as Enterprise Partner Services, Enterprise Business.

Architecture and Technology
•Designing process solutions in collaboration with the Competency Center Solution Architect
•Creating and maintaining solution documentation
•Learning to configure RPA processes and objects


The successful candidate will benefit from having:
•Banking / Financial Services experience is preferred
•Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interview colleagues, gather business process details and identify solution requirements
•Good written skills with the ability to clearly document and explain business processes and automated solution designs
•Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience.
•A working knowledge of current business processes and the ability to understand new business processes
•Ability to envision how optimization and automation will work in the wider business environment, to understand its advantages and what its effect will be
•An understanding of workflow based logic and the ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram, and to illustrate a written process description as a workflow diagram
•A self-starter who delivers high quality work and can adapt to new challenges, either on their own or as part of a team
•Awareness with systems development life cycle and structured programming methods (both traditional and agile), including requirements definition, solution design, program development, testing, documentation, training, deployment, operations, support and maintenance required
•Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean)
